Outside Sales / Event Coordinator
The exceptional candidate will have C.E.R.P. Certification or a minimum of four years experience in coordinating special events from start to finish. A familiarity with building and fire safety codes relating to special events is a plus. The candidate must have good organizational skills and a keen focus to follow through until project completion. You must have general knowledge and understanding of C.A.D. drawings and software programs relative to event layouts/planning. You will be required to develop your own client base through market research and leads. Duties include sales, marketing, bidding and contracting with event planners, caterers, fair and festival producers, wedding coordinators, and those who stage special events. Good communication skills are a must for this position. You must possess the ability to manage and direct set-up crews, develop and follow timelines as well as manage projects on site. In some cases projects may require travel statewide or further.
